Solar Battery Equalization
I am about to implement a Renogy 100W Solar Kit to charge my battery when boondocking. In reviewing the manual, the Renogy controller will be charging in different modes, depending on battery type. For flooded batteries, it will charge in Equalization mode when the battery falls below a certain voltage, or every 28 days otherwise. When in this mode, it will be sending 15.5V to the battery. Renogy says to disconnect any load that cannot handle the charge, but I really won't know when Equalization is being used and will be still be using the RV interior lights and furnace fan among other things. Will 15.5 volts cause an issues with 12 volt stuff in my 2019 Eagle HT?
