Solar Controller, Pre wired

i cut out the solar controller pre marked spot on my 2019 Eagle to install the go power overlander solar kit.
I found two red wires dropping from the ceiling and capped off with wire nuts and a black wire comes down loops and goes back up the wall.
With only one connection on the top I'm wondering why the two red wires.
Anyone else run across something like this.?

a quick use of a voltage meter can answer all your questions!

On mine, a 2017, it seems like I had a loop also. Don’t remember the specifics.

Either way, two from the panels and two going to the batteries. Look for the connection to the batteries, check your wires with a volt meter. Identify them and the other 2 are to the panels.

Seems like no 2 units are solar prepped the same!
On my 2020 pinnacle 5er my red and black solar wires were both cut and capped. One side Red went to the battery, 12v was present, other red went to roof solar connector. One black was from roof solar connector and the other end evidently is terminated to a ground somewhere in the mess of wires, I never could find where.

I didn't use a go power controller so I connected all of the wires and placed my Victron charge controller near the batteries.

Pre-wired means....? I'm wondering what were the electrical designers/installers were drinking. Has anyone found the Jayco Customer Support diagrams helpful?

Oh yeah, along with the roof connection I also have a automotive style 2 pin solar connector in my wet bay (solar on the side?) and a plug in my bag of paperwork. Curious as to how this was wired, I took an access panel off to find about 2' of unconnected wire hanging from the back of the plug. Sales pitch should read "Partially Wired For Solar".

Thanks everyone.

My solar on the side was the same way. I unscrewed it from the camper and the wires were disconnected.
I think I have this other deal figured out now. Thanks for all the help. !

behind your main battery switch panel there should be a schematic pasted to the back cover. This will identify the location of the factory preinstalled solar wires connected to the battery switch panel.. More than likely the two red wires are you solar wires, they should be no smaller than #8, ideally #6.. I have a 19 RSTS and one #6 wire w/#6 ground goes up to the rooftop solar wire box and one yellow #10 goes to a solar plug at the water valve console. I'm thinking the two Reds you have go up to two separate solar rooftop wire boxes.. Take a trip up to your roof and see if you can spot the boxes.. Mine were not connected at the roof.. they just had wire caps on the wires inside the box... Pain to remove the boxes, you have to carefully cut them away from the roof membrane.
