Something else to check

While I was installing a wet kit on the F/W I found one of the shackle bolts had come loose and was backing out. The nut was finger tight and the bolt had all ready backed out from where it is pressed in to the shackle. I don't think it would stayed in much longer and we just got back from a two week trip. So I guess when checking tires we should be looking at springs and shackles also.

Very smart move on checking the bolts. I changed all mine out several months ago with wet bolts plus added the cross bracing between the hangers from MORryde. I don't trust a stock suspension, especially with the amount of miles we put on a rig.

Two of the bushings had just started to wear though so was the right time to add the wet kit.

No doubt. The stock bushings don't last long. Most would be shocked at their wear after just a short time.

Did you change the shackles out too for the thicker / beefier ones from MORryde or dexter?

I though the bushings may have been worse, I would guess we have about 15000 to 20000 km on the f/w
