Sound Bar Operation

2018 Eagle 321RSTS.
I can get the sound bar to work in position B with the stereo.
Can you make the sound bar operate for TV volume instead of TV speakers?

Can you bypass the radio system and plug the sound bar directly into the tv?

Well, the answer is yes, but neither my wife or I remember what we did to accomplish that. We believe we had to change something in the tv menu.

I tapped into the audio out cable on the back of my tv and just turndown the tv audio and use the sound bar remote. I wish I could digger out how to program my tv remote to the sound bar.
