SawBuck and Rolling Thunder... thank you for the info. We were out camping and I had no Internet access. That's what I will do when the table and chairs come in. Thanks again

Update:

Table and chairs arrived today and they're very nice. Jayco did an outstanding job of packaging. Everything was assembled so basically all I had to do was remove all the packing material. Wife loves the stuff so that's a big plus right there

Now I am looking at these small black eyelets which I presume should be screwed into the floor so that the straps that came with the chairs can be secured while traveling... does that sound right?

There are also two silver right angle brackets that I think should be fastened to the underside of the table near the wall of the slide to keep the table steady. Does that sound right?

Looks like the base of the pedestal also needs to be screwed into the floor. Does anyone know what size screws are used for this?

Thanks for any and all help!

We have had both setups and liked them both for different reasons, but this time we went with the booth. I like Jaycos booth in the Eagle.

The under bench storage of the booth is great but I find sitting for any length of time to be uncomfortable. So much so that I often bring a small camp chair inside to sit rather than at the booth. I'm hoping the chairs will work out better.

I can't take a look until the weekend rolls around again. Our table has two pedestals instead of the single in the center.

I'm going to tackle it today. Have to go bring the trailer home from storage because I can't extend the slide where it's at. I found out the screw size for the pedestal. Now all I need is to figure out the best/preferred location for the eyelets. Wish me luck!

Our table has a single pedestal and we wrap a single bungee around one leg of each chair around the pedestal. It also came with 2 covers to put over the chair backs so they don't rub. We also hated the both in our previous non Jayco unit so made sure we got chairs for this one..

Our chairs also came hooked to the floor but it is such a pain in the arse to undo them and hook them back up we don't even use them. They travel fine without any problems not hooked up. Also our electric outlet is placed on what looks like a wheel well just beyond the dinette table and chairs. Actually behind the recliner.

Ok guys, I am going to get the trailer tomorrow. I had planned to do it today but life got in the way. I'll take photos of the before and after plus how I move the electric receptacle to a surface mount.

Hearing about the eyelets and straps makes me think that perhaps I will forgo that for now and see how things go.

BTW, no chair covers came with the set but I imagine I could use a pillow case to accomplish the same thing eh?

We wrap a bungee cord around the four chair legs where they meet under the table. This provides some stability and the have always stayed put when travelling

I had the same issue in a previous fifth wheel that had the booth dinette. I took the cushions to an upholstery shop and had the foam replaced with a more dense foam. Was a 1000% improvement. Cost about $100 to replace the foam but was well worth it. I took the sofa cushions and had the same foam put in them as well. I forgot the weight of the foam but it was pretty heavy. I never knew that weight was the key and not the thickness. I just replaced the four inch foam with heavier four inch foam.

I'd love to know the place you took the sofa cushions to. That's my next project.

So I jumped the gun and went and got after it today instead. The booth setup came out easily with minimal leftover evidence it had been there. The new stuff went in easily (as you can imagine). All I have to do is mount the power and faster stuff down.

Here are a few photos:
