Staples pushing up under roof membrane.

Recently noticed a number of staples pushing up under the roof material. This is occurring on both sides of the roof apparently from the material used to make the radius on the edges. Also has a number of humps along the edges of the radius material under the roof membrane.

It is scheduled to go to the factory in October for an "evaluation" but Brittanie, the customer service rep, was not sure what would occur after the evaluation.

I am wondering who out there has had this issue and if the trailer was taken to the factory for "evaluation". What,if anything was done? Did they replace the entire roof material. Or, did they just loosen the roof material at the edges, repair the staples and radius material and then just re-fasten the roof material at the edges. Or, did they do nothing.

At this point I am divided between having any repairs made and risk future problems due to the roof having been opened up or just leaving it alone and keeping a watchful eye on it. If need be, just adding eternabond tape and lap sealant over the areas of the staples.

Thanks in advance

My 377 went back last Dec. for another problem and I asked them to look at roof for same issue. They put complete new roof on.

Did it go back to the factory? What exactly did they do to the roof? Did they have to repair or replace any of the decking?

There was a few people on here since the 2016’s that have had that fixed
I guess Jayco doesn’t care to change their technique.
Mine are coming up now too, but I am out of warranty.

They said they removed the staples and replaced with screws. They said nothing about replacing any decking.

Thanks.

As I said I am wondering if they will replace the entire membrane or just loosen it from the sides, refasten the radius material and then refasten the roof membrane without replacing the entire rubber roof membrane.
