Strange noice

I have a 28.5 RSTS and I have a strange noise coming from what sounds like the smoke detector. However it is not!! I changed the batteries in the detector, it is not hard wired. Unplugged the RV from electric and still get the beeping sound? What could it be? Sounds as though it is coming from the ceiling but I cannot find anything that could be causing the sound. Someone please HELP!

I would take the batteries out and listen to determine if the chirps (strange noises) go away. Often times the sound is from the CO detector, many of which start chirping at around 5 years after the manufacture date of the detector. CO detectors need to be replaced at around 5 years and replacing the batteries is not the issue, as they have a built in timer. ~CA

Okay, battery out of the smoke detector, it is not hard wired. Now where would I find the CO detector?
