Sub frame

I have a 2017 F250 4x4, Anderson Ultimate Fifth Wheel, and a 2017 BHDS 29.5. I had the Maxxis 16 inch tires upgraded from the factory.

I'm still pretty nose high (about 6-7 inches). It seems that having a sub frame welded on is the answer.

However - I can't find a shop with the confidence level I'd like them to have to start altering the suspension like this. The trailer/hitch installation shops here in Texas are the ones that are willing to do it, but I'm not sure their experience extends to RVs as much as it does with box trailers. Some of them respond with "sure, bring it in.. someone here can figure it out.."

Anyone have any recommendations as to who "specializes" in this kind of modification? The RV dealerships around my area are rather useless and stocked FULL with people who are more concerned with commissions than solving problems.

Thanks!

We had ours done by Straight Line Suspension in Mesa, AZ. I know it's not close to you, but maybe you can call and get some pointers on what type of questions to ask those in your area?

Unfortunately I don't have anything constructive to add to this particular thread, but I feel your pain on the useless dealers, our jayco dealer all about sales, but forget about after sales

Sub frame to hold the axles on... I would use the trailer guys, box on top of trailer, shouldn't matter. Alignment would be my biggest concern what if any can they build in.

It's a very simple modification, provided hangers / alignment are done perfect.
