Surround Sound - TV

OK, so my 2016 Eagle HT has Surround Sound for Music, but Not the TV? Anyone know if this is easy to remedy (re-wire)? Also the stereo has A=Kitchen / Living Room Speakes, B=Both Bedrooms (I'd Like to split the bedrooms, maybe install another button just for the bunk-bed speakers) and C=Outside Speakers. When you add C for outside sound, the level is Much lower than inside. To really hear it outside, the volume is almost too loud for inside at the same time. So I'd like a separate volume knob for the outside speakers.
So any Audiophiles out there can guide me to 'fixing' this issues?

Thanks,
Dave...

Yeah, A & B are about the same / good, but I'd like to have the bunk beds on a separate button from the Master bedroom. If grand kids are watching a movie, I dont want to hear it. Or vice-versa.

The volume difference is probably from different sized speakers/different inclosure or different power to each set. You can get inline volume adjusters from car audio shops or radio shack

As for the TV, look to see if they both have HDMI connections... use those if you only have RCA connections in use currently

A toggle switch will work for your bedrooms tapped into either speaker wire. As far as the outside speakers you can't make them louder with a volume control only quieter. You max volume is controlled by the control on your receiver. If you need more volume I would pull the outside speakers looking for a problem there. I believe the low volume maybe caused by a different ohm speaker than the inside ones. 4 ohm speakers usually are the louder of 4 or 8 ohm speakers

And because the outside speakers have nothing to contain and reflect the sound. I'd think a better scenario would be switching the livingroom, bedrooms as desired and a separate wiring run for outside only.
In previuos rv I had access to the backs of the outside speakers from in cabinets.
I built wooden box enclosures to take the speaker back pressure and force it forward (outside). Might not be possible in yours.
The size and length of speaker wire also can adversely effect the sound.

OK so this morning I was poking around with the audio video system. I found out while watching TV if you hit the AUX button twice you get TV surround sound.

Not to be a smart-a##, but the instruction manual in my FW told me how to get to surround sound for the tv as well as the radio. Did yours not contain that information?

My manual did not have those instructions. But I ran some rca output from the tv to the aux input on the radio and have surround sound.

And I thought they just included a fire starter with each appliance.... Oh well!

As mentioned, I have read here that the outside speakers are a higher ohm than the inside speakers. That is one thing I still need to investigate. As for forcing the sound "out" like Cosmic did, if the speaker backs were open to the inside of the cabinet, that will definitely help. But if they are sealed fairly well being "inside" the wall then there isn't a way to add an enclosure.

Any idea why you had to push it twice?

I noticed on my 2016 Seismic Wave 310 with both Furion systems that surround sound wasn't coming on. I haven't read the manual yet, I just assumed it didn't have RCA cables run from the OUT of the TV to the Aux of the Furion system.

But now after reading this thread, I'm going to go home and read the manual to see if it's setup or if the TV's just didn't have out to hook up to Aux on the Furion system.

Likely has "AUX1" and "AUX2". Pushing it cycles between them.

Make sure that your TV is set to have the speaker OFF as well (ie. so it doesn't play audio through the TV). I couldn't figure out why my TV audio wasn't running through the Jensen unit and this was the missing piece.

You may also want to check that there is a cable connected between the audio OUT on your TV and your audio system.

So the Furrion DVD/CD/MP3 player that runs the surround sound in the family room is connected to the TV by HDMI. So that's why AUX mode doesn't work for the TV to play through the sour round sound.

I'm going to read the manual to see what I'm missing, or if I just need to run the RCA for AUX.
