Tail Lamps

I have a 2012 Eagle RLTS. Was wondering if anyone has ever changed out the rear tail light bulbs for LED bulbs. If so which ones did you find that fit and worked that are plug and play. Would also be interested in changing the whole light assemble if I could find ones that fit where the old ones are. Of course it would need to be brake and turn signal also. Thanks for any help.

I started down that track when I kept replacing bulbs in my tail light. Then I was told by my daughter that my tails were dim. Checked and corrosion on the sockets from moisture.

Replaced with matching sized LED fixtures. MUCH BRIGHTER and not much more than two good quality LED 1157 equivalent bulbs and supposedly waterproof. Next job, replace all the marker lights. Should save 6 or 8 amps draw on the alternator and give better light. Also, won't have to pry off the lenses and replace bulbs.

Bought Command Electronics from Amazon.

Yes, we have a 2012 Jay Flight with the Command Electronics brand of tail lights. If yours have 3157 bulbs inside, they make a plug and play LED panel kit for them, which include new lenses. These are the lights we have.

And this is the LED upgrade kit>

Simple installation with basic knowledge. I did it in less than 20 minutes.
