Tank heaters

We will be using our Pinnacle 36fbts this winter. We do have underbelly heat but no tank heaters. Can you have those installed after market?

Yes you can, just look on the web for Tank Heater Pads, available in 110 volt and some in dual electric (12 volt/110 Volt)

How cold are you expecting to see? Your tanks are in the enclosed underbelly, and it is heated via your gas furnace.

We will be in southest corner of New Mexico. According to average temps the lowest we should see is 28 degrees.

Your Pinnacle should be good from 0-110 or as the brochure shows. We camp in below freezing temps from time to time and at 10 degrees our water supply to the residential fridge freezes.

The tanks will be fine. We do not have an enclosed underbelly nor tank heaters. We camp often with low temps in the overnight temperatures in the low 20, with daytime temps above freezing.

I would focus on water hose, and sewer hose connections. As they will freeze up over night.

Are they supposed to be good to 0 degrees with or without the tank heater? Our North Point does not have the tank heater option and I was always hesitant to camp below freezing because I wasn't sure.
