Telescoping TV Mount

I have a 2020 377RLBH with the TV mounted using a telescoping mount built into the fireplace cabinet. I would like to hook HDMI cable directly into the back of the TV but cant figure how to release the TV from the mount. Any suggestions? I cant be the first with this issue.

You need to lower the TV into the cabinet and then release the emergency exit window. This will allow you to access the back of the TV from the outside through the window. Easiest way to get to the back of the TV.

Yeah, I thought of that but figured there had to be an easier way. Wish they would put “smart “ tv’s in the trailers, would make life easier.

Thank

I can reach mine from the side with a telescoping mirror and some real real uncomfortable twisting!

I installed a Samsung 4K TV (7000 series) and also a Samsung sound bar. Awesome. I can stream YouTube, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon via my smart phone. At our property in Central Oregon we get about 2 bars and it seems to work just fine. Also about 160 channels of OTA although I haven’t really explored all the channels yet. I’m sure most are nonsense. I also bypassed the Furion DVD player and installed a Blu-ray player in the cabinet adjacent the Furion player. Just pull the Furion and swap HDMI cables between the Furion and the Blu-ray player and you’re done. Mounting the TV took some work. The Furion TV doesn’t use the standard VESA mount the every other TV in the known universe uses. (imagine that). Nothing a cutoff wheel and a small welder can’t handle! I’ll take pics once I’m back out in a week.
