Televator in new Pinnacle

The televator in my new Pinnacle is not raising the tv high enough for the remote to work with the sensor on the tv. The sensor is on the left side at the bottom and the tv comes up crooked with the left side being lower. Does anyone know if the tv can be adjusted on the televator? Not a lot of room to work behind the tv.

No there isn't a lot of room and we no longer use ours. Did you check to see if it is connected correctly? Ours was crooked - guess the dealer installer was having an "off" day.

Since our previous 5vr was broken into 3 times we no longer leave electronics out. We use the base & just put the TV away when we are done camping & raise the TV arm so hopefully the unit will not be broken into. Yes, it is a pain in the a$$.

I have the same problem on my 15 Pinnacle. I haven't found a fix, so I have to hold the remote high when I use it. I have satellite and my satellite remote won't work with the JVC TV, so it's only a problem with changing volume.

On our 2011 , we had the same problem + the back mount had an issue while still in warranty. Our dealer took the mount out and mounted a 2x4 on the floor then remounted the unit. Problem was solved.

Ours doesn't come all the way up on it's own either, partially because it hits the bottom of the window valance. We generally "assist" though and all is good...

It's a common complaint about problems with the remote. I did a lot of reading about dongles that can be attached that allow the remote to be received easier. Some sets have a place where they can be plugged in therefore moving the sensor to a more convenient location.

Do some research and you may find one. I ended up adding a 2 x 4 under mine on the floor to raise it enough to satisfy my laziness but it's still a minor problem.

Some remotes work better than others.
