The EAGLE has Landed

Finally, after just over a 4 month wait, the new Eagle has landed. 1800 mile round-trip to get her, but she is everything we hoped it would be. The PDI went very smooth. Wife took most of the inside while I did the outside. We were very thorough during the process and it took use just over 3 hours to complete. Camped close-by on Friday night, then drove 480 miles and stopped at another camp site. Then another 400 miles home Sunday (in between snow storms) but made it safe & sound.

At the dealers:

1st night camping spot:

2nd night camping spot:

Here is what we woke-up to Sunday morning:

Now she's Home:

Dave...

Very nice trailer. I bet it pulls really nice behind that truck.

Well although I've never pulled a 5'er before I do have to say, with my truck and hitch setup, she pulls Very smooth. On some of the trip, on very smooth / open roads and light traffic I found my foot had me at 70mph and didn't realize I was going that fast. I slowed down because I don't really think 70 is a safe speed to be pulling in. Having the long bed I know helps a lot and gives me plenty of room in the bed to move around and use my toolbox while hooked-up. Its a Great combo to have.

Dave...

We pick ours up Monday, I delayed because of salt and snow. Looks great, best of luck. When the awning is extended what is the height? Wife wants a sun shade for ours and it looks a lot higher than a TT.
