I saw one of the motors out while the trailer was waiting for the parts to arrive. They had the motor out lying on the step. It was a 500:1...my understanding, like you, was they were 300:1.
My NorthPoint was one of the very early builds in early June of 2015.
I don’t know if they actually put new motors in or not. I was too hard to tell from the new parts list on the service report.

The big thick black Teflon type pads they installed where my rollers run seem to have made it smoother.
I did notice I can see daylight where the seal bends around the pads but just a little. Found a neat trick I used my blower to blow all the junk out that collects under the slides. Blow from the inside out.

Do you have any pics of the Teflon pads? The indentations under the floor where my rollers run isn’t the smoothest in parts.

The rubber seal under the slide out on kitchen slide has been ripped in one place. Also noticed slide is lower (on inside front) when slide is closed.

They did make a point of noting they checked the rollers for smoothness.
Under my fridge side is really the worst roller groove.

No pics of the pad but next time I open it up I will get one. The pads are about two inches wider than the roller and at least 5/16 thick. They run the full width of the slide and they have them held up by screws. The screws run as far in as u can get with the slide fully open. On the inside u can see the pad is as far in as the inside edge of slide. So the roller will always be on the pad. I have seen these pads on different RV’s that also have the double track up top.

The factory service center installed them when they adjusted the slide.

Seems to me if the roller keeps grooving, it won’t be long until the top steel edge of the roller bracket will start dragging.

My second roller back the bracket was touching on the forward side and eating up the bottom material. I have the gas fridge, but after 4K miles towing the weight and smooth roads indented the roller pretty good.

Try the BBB

I would go through the BBB. We had to with our 2017 NP 375bhfs. We had issues from day one, about 1 year later and contacting the BBB, Jayco finally made it right. It was a steady battle and contacting Jayco directly the whole time.

List the issues 5Castles.
It’s always interesting to see what the common issues are.

I am like u now out of warranty but at least have the extended one. Everyone can say what they want but having an extended warranty on an RV seems like a no brainer.

Yep. I got it because of the residential fridge, the LevelUp, and the Schwintek
I figured there is no way those things will last 7 years.
It already paid for itself with my slide repair

My 383flfs is at the dealer right now and both of these issues are on the list. Mine is still in warranty (till Sept) after 2 1/2 months now jayco is sending new columns for the schwintec system (kitchen slide with residential ref.). They are supposed to show me the location of the reset button on the furnace. (Not sure how you access it on that unit, you cant even see the furnace). They haven't told me yet how much longer it will take for parts to arrive.

Same problem on our 16 Eagle 321 RSTS is the kitchen slide starting to sag? Or just to heavy for the rollers. If you have a pic that would be great. My camper will be going in for final warranty submitted Aug. 2017. Yes thats the correct date. Thanks

Grumpy;

I've noticed that you are very much an avid supporter of Jayco. You've also stated in many posts of the wonderful warranty support that Jayco offers to its customers. I too would love to be able to sing the praises of Jayco, if only I had the magic formula for getting them to actually fix anything. I'm sure that others would also be interested in how you seem to get things that no one else can, PLEASE share the magic formula!
Just returned from Vegas, air conditioner quit cooling. Long story, called dealership, no support. Called Jayco, provided all necessary information and they declined unless I took it to a Jayco dealership. The Jayco dealerships were 2 to 3 weeks out and with temps hitting the 90's it was very uncomfortable. Begged them to authorize a mobile repair so we could get some relief, NO, NO and more NO's. Paid out of pocket for the repair, Jayco won't reimburse because the work wasn't done by a Jayco dealer.
Purchased Aug. 2017, Model Year 2018, over 1 year left on the 2 year warranty and so far, nothing has or is covered.

Klassic;

Compile a timeline of each of your issues using the repair documents. This will allow you to visually determine the duration of repair attempts and to also determine if your issues originated within the specified warranty timeline. The next step, if all else has failed is to contact someone who could assist you in resolving the question of warranty. Being married to someone who uses the "L" word, all is not lost if you can prove that your ongoing issues were brought to the attention of Jayco, or one of its authorized repair facilities. Consult the applicable codes in your part of the country as there are many examples of precedence where companies have had to make repairs after the expiration of any stated warranties.
