Thursday's the day

Doing my PDI on our 2018 377.

If all passes, we'll return Saturday and take her on a 2 day shakedown to a local campground for the weekend. Supposed to be in the 50s this weekend, so instead of waiting a few more weeks, I'm striking while it's "hot."

Besides the comprehensive checklist on the General Forum, any last minute advice?

When we had our PDI I made sure the dealer had put enough water in the fresh tank to pump up the system. We pumped it up first and left it pressurized the entire time and no cycles so the plumbing was good to go. Also ran the slides in and out a few times to check for proper operation and to see how well they sealed up when closed-nice and even top to bottom. The 377 is a popular trailer. Best of luck on the PDI.

Congrats! Say hi to my 377, sitting on the lot waiting for parts. During the dealer pdi they discovered to recliner doesn't work and the fire place doesn't stay lit. 6-7 weeks for parts. I'm happy they found the problems first and that it's January. Hope everything goes well.

ooh, sorry to read that. Have you at least got to visit it before you've signed the papers?

Haven't even seen it yet, told them when it was ready I would come pay for it. They offered to come pick it up when the parts were in but I woud rather have everthing fixed before I sign anything.

Ours has been there for about a month, haven't seen it either. I don't think it's been through their PDI yet, crossing fingers they don't find anything, we have a 2 week road trip scheduled third week of March.

Did they end up working with you on price?

Not as much as I wanted with the price, but its still a reasonable price. I was surprised that they had a 6-7 week delay in getting parts. I could see if it was something that had to be fabricated but a fireplace is somthing that you would think they might have a couple extras sitting in a warehouse somewhere. I know we're not camping anytime soon but I wanted my new toy to play with, especially that its 60 and sunny right now.
