Yes, we head back Sunday and Monday. We won't get the new timbrens til we get back home as they couldn't promise to get them here before we left. Plus, I still have to send them pics of the marshmallow (lol) loaded and unloaded so they can determine which new timbrens to send us.

Well first day of our two day trip back home from Kansas City to San Antonio. I paid more attention to the ride today than I did coming up here and the ride seemed fine. We just hit some bad roads in Oklahoma and Kansas on the way up last week. I'm still gonna talk with Timbrens again tomorrow to see if we stick with the current ones or they provide softer ones.

Did you remember to take pictures loaded and unloaded?

My truck pulling the empty trailer did not squat too bad. I will see when the RV is loaded up. I would guess a large portion of the weight in the basement will be pin weight. So I will know in about 2 weeks which will be our maiden voyage.

No, I forgot to take pictures loaded. I got them unloaded so I'll have another chance to take them loaded tomorrow. Will try to post the pics and also discussion with Timbrens sometime this week. I think we're gonna stick with them.

Will do. I probably should have waited and put the Timbrens on after picking up the 355 but I had time and went ahead and had them on when I picked it up so I don't know what it would've been like without them. I'm sure it would've squatted too much for my taste even though I have the 3500 srw. When I went to the CAT scales, drive axle had 3100 pounds on it and Jayco says my 355 has a pin weight of 2500 lbs.

This is the best pic I have that shows the squat with the empty trailer. As-built weight of my trailer is 13,385 (vs the 12,400 Jayco spec). So I am probably higher than the Jayco written spec of 2500 pin weight also.

Our camper (317 RLOK) was listed/advertised with a pin weight of 2,015 lbs. Actual scaled pin weight loaded and ready to camp is 2,550 lbs.

As delivered the sticker on our camper showed 11,004 lbs. When I weighed it loaded and ready to camp it was 12,200 lbs.

What are you using to post? I use my phone and Tapatalk, there is an icon above the keyboard for adding pics.

So you hit quote or reply and you see a window with icons on top? Click attachments and then browse to your photos? Might have to download the pics to your laptop for this.

How to add photos to a post
Click reply and scroll down to bottom of text box.
Click "go advanced" add text to message window and then scroll down.
Click "Manage attachments" A separate window will pop up.
Click "browse" Then select the file to be uploaded. Be sure that the photo is appropriately sized. No more than 400K is recommended. Forums software will automatically reduce the size, but smaller size photos will upload much faster. Images larger that 2 MB will not upload. You may select several photos to upload at the same time by repeating the last step.
Click "Upload" After pics have loaded close the pop-up window
Click "submit reply" to mount the text of your message - photos will automatically appear at the bottom of your post.

About attachment storage limits

When you upload a copy of an image file (or other attachment) it is stored on our servers. We highly recommend that you reduce file sizes before uploading them to posts and threads.

How to embed an image stored on another site:
You can do this by using image tags. Upload the image to a service like imageshack and then copy the URL of the image and put that between [IMG] tags. That will work well, as long as the host site stays in business and doesn't disable your image for overuse of bandwidth etc.

You can also paste in the location of a photo stored here in a photo Album.

To do this: Paste the url of the image into your post. Then add the following code on either side of the url (with no extra spaces):

[IMG]url here[/IMG]

The image will appear where the url was in your text.

So how was the ride yesterday?

You mentioned you wish you tried using the truck without the Timbrens. To see how much squat. I thought it was relatively easy to install, myabe you can try a trip without to see how it feels.

Sweet, so the one pics that have a load on it is that your 5th wheel hook up?

I have been following this post. I have timbrens installed on my 2019 Ford F350 cc sb srw 4x4. I towed my Eagle 321rsts with and without the timbrens. I really like the ride with timbrens installed as compared to without. I think the loaded ride quality is better with the timbrens. I noticed it does help with lateral movement as well; the truck doesn't roll side to side as much.

Without the fifth wheel hooked up, and leaving the pullrite hitch in the bed of the truck, the timbrens are about 3/4 inch off of the stops. I only feel a slight decrease in ride quality when running over a speed bump, pot hole, or similar sharp drop or rise. Otherwise, the ride is the same as without the timbrens installed. Your set up loaded and unloaded looks right in the pictures.

Agree, mine are like that, about 3/4 inch clearance when unloaded. I do feel them contact if I hit a speed bump to fast when not towing, but that's my bad.
