Looks like they are touching the axle while unloaded?

They look good, so do you have them under a load in the pics?

Really, they look less compressed than the last ones. If your hooked up you will be driving soon?

We pull 13k# and have 3100# on the pin and have a similar 350. While not overloaded (per a CAT Scale visit) we had too much squat IMO. For $200 I was willing to give ‘em a try. Little squat, good ride, I’m a fan.

I went to the storage lot to prep some stuff for our Tennessee trip in two weeks. Timbrens Customer Service wanted me to take a picture of the new aerons loaded. I'm gonna try to go get the 5'er washed this coming week so I can try out the new timbrens and see if I need to put the old firmer ones back on. I don't think I'm gonna need to do that. I was concerned there would be more squat than the firmer ones and that's not the case. I think my 3500 suspension is doing its' job more than I thought. Either way, these will take up some of the weight and stabilize the ride more than without.

This is mine attached and loaded up on our maiden voyage. So not as much sag as I expected. May not buy the timbrens after all.

Damn, nice looking setup even if it is a Chevy, lol! I would pay attention to any bouncing or side to side, which the timbrens would help. I would go with the softer ones if I did anything on your setup. But I'd wait and see. Probably what I should've done but like another OP said, $200 +/-, and easy install, four bolts on mine. Worth it.

Maybe it does not sag as much because it is a Chevy, hahahaha ([emoji2960][emoji2960][emoji23][emoji23]). Ok I will pay attention to those other symptoms. But I may put the shock kit for the RV first.

LOL, maybe you're right. What's the shock kit I keep seeing people are putting on brand new fifth wheels?

I am thinking of getting the Roadmasters that Akruebbe put on his rig. He gave them good feedback on his first use of them this weekend. Everything about using shocks just makes sense to me. One of the reasons you get uneven tire wear on your truck/car are bad shocks. Absorbing shocks makes me believe everything will last much longer in the RV and it should have less wear and tear.
Ride while towing should also be better.

Well I finally hitched up and took the 5'er out and tested the softer Timbrens they sent me. I could tell right off the bat it was a softer ride. Hitching up, didn't see any extra squat. We'll know more this Friday as we're leaving for Pigeon Forge, TN. Will update this weekend.

Oh we had a blast last June when we flew in and rented a house with friends. That's what got us to go this year with the rv. Flying the grandkids into Nashville round trip. Dollywood, Gatlinburg, mountains, a lot of fun.

I installed SuperSprings 4 years ago on my GMC. I bought the 1000 lb spring. It works on a roller system so it has no effect on the original suspension until the truck has a heavy load. They work great and I really like the ride of my truck either loaded or empty.

Well travel day one of three completed with the softer timbrens. I have t o admit, the softer ones ride much better than the first ones they sent. We can tell a significant difference and are happy with the new softer ones they sent.
