Timbrens on 2016 F350

Which hole did you use??? The front or back hole on the bracket?

I just installed Timbrens on my 2016 F-250 and I used the following thread as a reference: https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...350-57040.html.

Ice, that’s my post and I hope it helped.

Snicker, I’m sorry but I don’t recall which. But I loosely assembled one with the spacer and the other without to see which I felt was better. I decided to go without a spacer.
I then permanently assembled both bumpers without the spacer and used different holes on each.
I crawled under the truck and held one of them in place on the passenger and then on the driver side and picked the best fit.

I’m working from my memory but I vaguely think I used the front bolt hole but I sure can’t promise that’s correct.

It’s also possible that differences from year to year would make a difference in which way it should be assembled. My 350 is a ‘13 2WD.

I’d suggest testing both ways to verify what fits.

Timbrens on 2016 F350

Your tips helped me for sure. Wire tiring the wires on drive side helped me get access with my wrench easier. I used a crow bar to wedge the original bump stop while I remove the nut on the top to keep it from rotating. It was a pain in the butt for the simple fact that there is not much room under the truck. If you can get the rear tires elevated, it would have saved some time. I will be picking up the trailer tomorrow, so that will be the big test.

P.S. My set didn’t come with a spacer, however I don’t think I would have used it anyway.

Hmmm, maybe they don’t include them on the 250 kit.
My ride change wasn’t dramatic but I do think it’s improved. The biggest (and best) payback for me was reducing the squat.
