My point exactly. According to my specific tire chart I can go down as low as about 64psi and still be below on GVWR. Now I dont need to go that low but 75psi surely has a great extra margin built in and doesnt get much higher than 83-83psi when warm/hot. Pretty silly to run them up to the max IMO when it isnt needed.



I travel between Florida and Wisconsin and back again. (Snow Birds) Leaving Wisconsin last year it was cold and in the 50's. Getting into Florida it was approaching 90 every day. We do the trip in 3 days if were not sight seeing.



But with those temperature changes on a 1500 mile trip you better pay attention to the pressures when you start out every morning. I am either adding or letting out depending on which direction and thats for the *COLD* tire temps.

TST sensors are user adjustable. Mine are set for 10 degf lo and 20deg f High.
