I am going to do what Rob has already done. I don't tow as much as he does, but "G" rated tires are in my future for this coming spring. My original "E" rated Marathons have only another 500 miles go in October and they are history.

I went for even more overkill.

I ordered my new 5th wheel with 17.5" Michelin XTA load range J tires.

The Goodyears I have on my 2012 HT 26.5 are load range D. Would it make sense to switch out and put "Es" on the FW now. We have taken four trips so far this year, plus a number of takebacks to the dealer, and they seem to be wearing well. I think the FW has 6,000 axles and the FW has a total GVWR, whatever, of 9,950. I have seen a number of pictures of the Goodyears that have been destroyed and don't want that to happen to my FW.
