Mine had stickers on them. The front was about to fall offbut the rear one was intact. The stickers are on the back of the axles in the middle.

Pretty much what we do when it's new. Take pictures of every single label we can access, including AC and other appliances, and archive them with that particular camper's files. Never know when you'll need them again.

That's a great idea! I do it with my trucks; take pics of the VIN plates, tire plates and in my GMC I had a pic of the "build" sticker from the glove box. I have pics of some of the plates on my trailer, but never thought about taking pics of the labels on the appliances! Great idea!

Thanks to this thread(and my gut), this week I swapped out my 15" blowmax's to 16s and Michelin XPS RIB tires. When I go hook up in a couple hours and head out, watching and worrying about my tires constantly wont be an issue!

Trailertireandwheels done me right on my wheels. The ones I really wanted were backordered with no projected ship date. I got the next ones I liked at a lower price and free lug nuts as well. I got the tires local.

With our trailer loaded, the XPS tires dont even squat any at all. The factory Towmax were only D rated and were bulging on the bottom of our loaded trailer.

Update. New axles, tires, and wheels worked good. Drove from Palmdale California to June lake and back with no issues. The only issue was the shop that did the work over tightened the lug nuts. I had to use a breaker bar to loosen them up then step torque them to 110 foot pounds. Rechecked when I got home and 3 or 4 of the 24 lug nuts moved slightly at 110 foot pounds. I think I will invest in a tire pressure monitoring system. Any recommendations for a 40 foot 5er?

I am running the TST TPMS system with the 507 bypass valves. I take them off when not in use to save the battery. Great range on my 43ft and long bed CC pick up. I have yet to test my new TV with them, but I was geting readings when not connected in the old one.

Best deal I found and provided an extended warranty on the unit as well. You must have metal valve stems though for any TPMS.

We have a Minder Research monitor and I think it's great. However, we do need a repeater so that's something to be installed before you can use it. I installed it in the basement.
That said, I'm very happy with mine and think everyone should have one of any brand.

I've experienced 2 tire failures and it warned me of both before any damage to the 5th happened. Wouldn't travel without!

Rowmatt, There are decals on the back of the axeles that state the capacity. The decals said 6000 pounds and the sticker on the trailer said 7000 pounds. I called Jayco and they looked up the build paper work and admitted they installed the wrong ones. I called Dexter axel first and they said they would not honor the warrenttee if they were over capacity, so I informed Jayco of this fact from Dexter axel and they replaced them.
