top of slide will not seal when closing

Hi all, just got back from a long weekend and noticed the my passenger side slide out (non-Schwintek slide) does not seal closed at the top. There is about an inch left to be pulled in. Both the top corners are each about 1 inch out. I was fully connected to shore power.

I have extended and retracted a few times fully, but doesn't help at all. Is this a dealer fix? any adjustments that I can try?

The unit is a 2017 Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS.

thanks for any help.

so I see this didn't get too much attention, but I did spend 2-3 hrs with this this video and making adjustments. Turns out I had to drop my non-shwentek (sp) down a bit to make the top of the slide come all the way in. Like any adjustments, had to take multiple swings to make it all work out, but I will do it again when needed. I imagine I saved 1-2 hrs of labor work, so I figured maybe $200-400 in savings and I didn't have to go anywhere.

tools needed (for me anyway)
2 - 3/4" open socket wrenches
15/16" open socket wrench
hammer (some of the nuts were really tight)
PATIENCE

hope this can save someone else some $$$.

I think you not only saved on the labor charge, you also didn't have to leave it at dealer for weeks, if not months, waiting for the repair. Good job.

Happy Camping, you save yourself months worth of time with the RV tied up in service. Anyone that owns an RV, needs to learn how to do repairs. It’s part of RV Ownership, just like home repairs is part of Home Ownership.
