Tpms

Good evening. We just got our new trailer and are going thru some of the stuff we have from the Whitehawk. The tpms we have is a tireminder tm55. Max pressure is 80 psi. The new tires on the 5th wheel have psi of 80. Do I need/should we upgrade the tpms to something that has a high psi rating or are we ok. TIA

Sounds like you are in the market for a new TPMS if 80 is max.
If 80 is the cold psi, your present unit will be only half as effective.

Something to consider if buying one for the first time.

Contact TM and ask what your upgrade options are.

I would think you would need a different one with the increase in tire pressure. We have the tm77 for ours.
