Trailer light wiring

I have been asking this forum for help.
I didn't get any responses
So I found the information myself and I will share with you.
God only know the dealership won't help either.
I am installing Hydraulic over electric disc brakes and needed the color code for the 7 pin connector to install the pump correctly. Also needed the location of the connection etc.
I FINALLY found the information I needed, some from a Fourm post date in 2016.

The connections are located behind the light fixture next to the hitch pin box.
The color codes are:
Red=Left Turn
Brown = Right Turn
Green = Running lights
Blue= Electric Brake
Black+ 12 V power
White = Ground
Yellow = Reverse Lights

Now why the trailer manufacturers can't use the same color codes as all the other vehicle / truck manufacturers is beside me!

Sorry you did not get an answer but the 7 as well as the 9, and all others are on the Internet with a Google search. When you need info on about anything try an Internet search.

I just did a complicated trigger, hammer and sear replacement for a Ruger Mark IV 22-45 pistol by searching for and finding several YouTube videos on that particular task. Not a day goes by that I do not research something on the Internet and find multiple answers.

Sorry that you did not get a reply. I saw your post but, was busy with work and the holidays. I figured someone would post a reply.

The 7 pin wire harness on the trailerside is standard, and there are lots of posts on the subject. Google has lots of info too.

Again sorry we let you down.
