That thing makes me sweat just thinking about moving it! Let us know how it tows. BTW, I ran my tires at 105 PSI on my last trip and didn't have anything fall off the walls this time. I think my next upgrade that I'll save for will be shocks...like Tom.

Don’t be a cheapskate like me. Spend the extra money for the joy rider shocks. Too much headache with the LCI shocks

That's the plan...they are already in my cart on Amazon. Just can't swallow the cost yet.

Dan i think your tire sidewalls are too stiff with 110 psi. I have been running my 614's at 100 and don't have stuff falling.

400 miles on the BD5 so far.
This hitch is Absolutely Awesome.
If you are going to put miles on a trailer this is the hitch to have.

Tom I think you would be just as happy with Trailair. Had one on my Mobile Suites and they are pretty awesome, but expensive!!

You’re probably right. Problem is I need to get a new set of tires for the truck soon and I still want disc brakes so it’s going to be awhile before any hitch or pin box upgrades. But I can still dream! [emoji23][emoji23]

The Disc Brakes are great also well worth the time and money.

After having all three I would rate the Hitch and Brakes a very close one and two, Shocks three.

If getting a new trailer in the weight class of these I would recommend to go for the Hitch first.

Just picked up a slightly used (like new) BD3. Have to purchase the adapter for my Ford F-350 this week. Have already upgraded the suspension and added disc brakes on the 5er. Have a trip planned in about two weeks. Looking forward to seeing how it handles.

Jealous! I’ve been on the lookout for one on CL but no luck. Congrats on your score

Good to know. Do you have discs on your trailer now? Titan or Kodiak? Did you install them yourself?

I had Performance Trailer Braking install the Titan Disc Brakes.

Just returned from a 700+ mile trip with the Trailer Saver BD3. Couldn't be more satisfied with the ride improvement. Especially when going over the joints at the overpasses. Well worth the monetary investment. Have been towing 5th wheels since 2001 and this set up is by far the best we have experienced.
