Pretty good idea. You let people sit on that?

Yes I do, when it was made in 2010 ( the TT) they had a brace that prevented the drawer from flopping up and down so it's pretty sturity. It's been in use now for 3 years and I sit on it when we have guests and I weigh 170-175 lbs.

The only problem for us, would be that we don't have a booth dinette in our 5th wheel. We ended up with the dining table and four-chair configuration.

I've been thinking about adding a few hooks and hanging a trash can under the overhang of the countertop. That way it wouldn't block the floor vent and it'll be close and should ride there fine going down the road.

I like that idea as well. We recently added a small basket with hooks for keys to the front side panel below the sink. We use it to hold our cell phones while they get charged up, and to hang our keys.
