Trifold bed comfort

We have a 2015 36FBTS and got the optional trifold sleeper sofa which came with an upholstered ottoman. When we open it up for sleeping there are 2 issues.

1. It is 72 inches by 72 inches. Its not a queen or a king size bed.
2. The areas between the cushions are like big canyons, when lying on the bed.

Are there sheets we can purchase for this size bed?
Does anyone have recommendations for a mattress topper that will work, and not be too bulky to fold or roll when not in use?

I had to sleep on mine when I had company and you are right - not comfortable. Something lightweight that would, as you said, fold easily and fit in the storage under the bed would be good.

We had some friends sleep on ours last weekend. I just emailed and asked them for a candid evaluation on what they thought, so we'll see.

We just used a Queen size jersey knit sheet set and wrapped it around the corners, and it seemed to set up fine. Judging by their snores, it couldn't have been too bad! LOL!

I had one in a earlier camper. My first option for a more comfortable night sleep was the floor!

We use flat sheets on ours. The kids sleep on it. They have no complaints. I wouldn't think it's too comfy for adults.

So, I asked my friend to rate it 1-10; 1 being she wanted to beat me with a rubber hose for making them sleep there, and 10 being she wanted to unbolt it and bring it home with her. She, her husband (not small people and neither are we) and their 2YO son slept on it for 2 nights. Here's what she said:

"Honestly, it was quite comfy! I would say at a 6. The only "complaint", and not really b/c it didn't affect anything at all, was that it seemed to slope downward at the head end and not bc of how the trailer was sitting. It may have just been that the legs at the end need to be a tad shorter. It really wasn't a problem though just the only thing I noticed.

So as for the 6 - it was WAY better than the ground; better than most pullouts; even better than an air mattress; but not as good as my own bed."

When I set it up, I thought the "foot" end might have been a little high. Luckily, that's adjustable; I can shorten the legs a little and it should be just right!

So there you go, another opinion.

Thanks for all your replies and first had testimonials. I will just invite my guests and go from there. Don't want them to be too comfortable!

Mine in my 28.5 Eagle seems slanted to. Lower at the head end. Is this the way all of them are?

Some friends used ours this past weekend for the first time. They said it was fine for them. I asked if it was comparable to an air mattress in terms of comfort and they said it was much better .

All our adult kids did was complain, so at that point TW and I decided that enough was enough and if they wanted to come camping with us, they need to sleep in a tent like we did when we started and we will even supply the tent. We decided this was our camper and even if it's a 27' one, better off having them elsewhere.
