Trigger? Pulled

Welp, we pulled the trigger yesterday on a 2019 Eagle HT 27.5RLTS. 50 amp, fireplace, 2nd A/C, Morryde steps, 16" Goodyears, backup camera, Modern Farmhouse. My wife wanted windows that open so we went framed. The farmhouse interior is beautiful...when you get used to it. We were able to buy from our old familiar dealer - 33% off the MSRP total, NADA on our trade. The hitch install with electric in the bed is a little over $1000. We're pretty happy with this. We have to wait until mid-late April but that's OK - our property is a tundra.

Sweet! See if Guy can get Chuck to do the dealers PDI for you. He's top notch!

Let Guy know that I talked with ya on this forum.

All right Earl. I'll talk to Guy probably this week. I'm glad we were able to go through Rhone's. I like those people a lot.

Yep, great people! I'll be up there in Aprilish to pick my unit up. They have it over the winter for some warranty and service work. I didn't get a chance to chat with Guy while there, but I did see him across the parking lot leaving for lunch I believe.

Nice. Those 16" wheels are a GREAT upgrade! You certainly won't regret that! That's a great floor plan too!

Eagle HT 30.5MBOK. Watched Haylett video - the bunks look like they're shoved in a closet but they'd be fine for little kids. We're using the pull-out sofa for our 12-year-old daughter

That is what we are eyeing right now is the 30.5MB. I think the bunks are big. The bottom one has an extension to make it longer after you extend the slide. We don't like the way the storage is layed out. The TV mounts on the wall without any cabinet under it.

Congrats! Now that's what I'm talking about almost just in time for camping.

Thanks everybody for your kind words. My wife is excited to get it. We've been going back and forth for about a year between Jay Flights and White Hawks and bunkhouses and no bunks, and she saw the floor plan of the HT and said "that's the one". It's on the high end of what my truck can pull (I'm always worried about weight) but the Ford should handle it, and it was a good and fair deal so we really feel OK about buying it. The thing we're looking forward to most is having an actual living area. The trailer we have now has a jacknife and a dinette and with three of us and the dog there's not a whole lot of room. It's an "excuse me" trailer but it has served us well.

On a side note, anybody that hasn't seen the Modern Farmhouse interior if you get a chance take a look at it. Give it a few minutes to sink in though. Our initial reaction was "South Philly" (no offense to anyone - it's a place we love) but after a bit we were sold on it. American Traditional is very nice but the Farmhouse is brighter and cheerier, if that's a word.
