Trouble with auto level on 377

We are trying to set up the camper and the auto level keeps saying error with back jacks and we can't even manually level it. Has any one had this issue?

You need to be somewhat level to start with. Probably need some blocks under those jacks if they have reached full extension

If the error says "Out of Stroke", then you need to put some blocks under them and try again.

I always start with 4x4's under both rear and middle jacks. Sometimes front ones too; depending on site.

A good tip is to block up fairly high. The shorter your jacks extend the less rock and roll you will have inside the unit. On the front jacks in particular I don't like to have more than 12 inches (less is even better) of jack extended. Any additional height needed is done through blocking.

Putting this out there in case anyone else has the problem!! We were on a not so level spot so we had blocks under the jacks. The problem occurred when the auto level actually lifted the wheels off the ground. It caused an error and we could not get it to clear to start over. My husband retracted the jacks but still could not get it to clear. We hooked back up to the truck, started over and put boards under the tires - still would not clear the error when we tried to auto level. He disconnected the power to the auto level - still would not clear. He finally figured out that you have to put all six jacks down manually about six inches (you can only manually extend the middle stabilizing jacks if you are in error mode) then retract them all. That finally worked! It was very frustrating but we learned something new. It only took about 2 hours!! It was a pretty simple fix once we figured it out but what a frustrating experience. Grrrrrrrrrrr

I had a similar problem. Put a level inside raise your front jacks so that's it's level from front to back and side to side, turn off your controller press the up button five times the down button five time then it will ask you if you want to reset it to zero press yes then your all good. I did that now it works great. If it gives you an error for one of the jacks just drop all your jacks at least 6" if you hold the right and left buttons at the same time the middle jacks will go down then press retract all and that will fix a jack error it's call re hone.

Just remember center jacks are for stability not for raising if to much pressure is applied manually it could damage the frame of the coach so the auto level button is always the way to go.

I had a problem today, called LCI tech support. Worst experience had a smart ass named Scott, basically told me to call a mobile tech. Called Jayco, walked me through the reconfigure zero mode. I'm not done with my complaint to Lippert yet.

I have had problems with mine also. It only wants to level on a flat surface. Just set up and it says level after 5 tries. Walk around the curbside and the midjack was not on the ground. Calling Lippert in the morning.
