Truck Stop Deizel Card

Has anyone used a truck stop diezel card to save money on diezel fuel. I saw a post last year concerning a card you could apply for that would allow you to pay at the pump and save money off the diezel price. The funds are taken from a checking or savings account.

Trying to see if anyone has

1) used.

2)Knows the name of the card.

3)What you think of the card.

Do a search for TSD Logistics in this forum and you'll find some discussion on their offering. Personally I just started using their card 3 weeks ago. The discount is better than anything I can get locally because I have several very large truck stops nearby where they've negotiated discounts. Personally I have no concerns over security with their card or their business. I have relatives that are truck drivers who use similar cards and I've personally talked to a couple of TSD drivers I saw on our last trip.

I've got 3 options in my wallet.
1) The Costco CitiCard pays 4% on non-grocery store fuel purchases. $3.00 becomes $2.88.
2) The Good Sam RV Plus card gets 8 cents a gallon off the cash price at Flying J and Pilot and is a true credit card.
3) The TCS card offered through FMCA that requires a pre-paid deposit, but nets an average 40 cents a gallon discount at TA and Petro truck stops.

I also use the TSD Card (EFS APP), the app has a locator and price/discount for the location. You give them a bank account number, you get a card to use, They give you the discount that’s been negotiated and take 10% of the savings and bill your account usually in 24-48 hours.

So just some comparisons. Here is the current TSD Logistics rates near my house and the advertised prices from Love's and Flying J. Pilot down the road is similar. It shows a $.44 discount at Love's and $.38 discount at Flying J. These will vary across the country. The actual discount isn't quite this good as TSD keeps 10% of your savings, but its still very good. If you think the $.08 discount from good Sam's is great, think again.

Last two fills here in Florida using TSD Logistics EFS, Loves = .48/gal discount, then PFJ = .50/gal.
Shows up as debit about two days later on average. Worth the effort to sign up for.

1 Yes - for a couple of years - 15k miles of diesel between Utah, MN and FL

2 RV Plus (known as good sam)

3 Do not use - closed it about a year + ago
