I might add that my BATWING lays flat but the antenna end sits in a raised piece of metal that keeps the BATWING antenna from actually touching the trailer roof. This also keeps the somewhat flexible antenna wings from flapping in the wind when going down the road to keep from doing damage to the antenna ends as well as the trailer roof.
I was looking on GOOGLE IMAGES for a photo of the raised metal section piece but could not come up with one...
