TV remote operates fireplace?

I have searched previous posting but haven't found out how to operate my fire place off of my Furrion TV/Stereo/Fireplace remote. The four buttons on the bottom are for the fireplace but they don't work.

I couldn't even find a operating manual online for this remote.

Anyone have the magic solution?

Thank you,

My fireplace has a switch with 3 positions...on; off; & remote position. My remote only works when fireplace is in the correct position.

Agree with Dan. I don’t have the fancy all in one remote, I have a separate remote for my FP. I guess I’m old school [emoji23]

Only the Furrion fire place will work with the Furrion remote. If your fireplace is another brand than you can only use the remote it came with.

Mine came with a remote for the fireplace, and a remote for the tv that the bottom 4 buttons work the fireplace also. Both Furrion.

Can't figure mine out either. I was provided a single remote that controls the TV and has some buttons that pertain to the fireplace, but the only way I can get the fire place to work is to walk up to it and hit the power button.

Ours is not that brand. No remote, manual operation only.

Thank you,
We have the same remote and issues on a new 2017 Pinnacle RSTS. Any updates on the issue?
Thanks!

Determined my TV was not Furrion so the "fireplace" option on my TV remote doesn't work.

If your fireplace is like mine, I have to flip the 2 way switch from water heater to fireplace to get power to the fireplace.

Same setup

I also have the Furrion TV, Furrion Fireplace, Fireplace remote and Furrion TV remote with the fireplace buttons. I have not been able to find out how to make the TV remote fireplace buttons work the fireplace. Only the dedicated fireplace remote works with the fireplace. Would love to know myself.

Try opening and leaving open the cabinet door that houses the receiver /TV/radio. I found my combo remote was blocked by cabinet door bottom while in the closed position.

Response from Furrion

All:

I have posted before about the great response I get out of Furrion with issues or questions. Regarding this post about using the TV remote to operate the fireplace, I received the following response after contacting their support team. This will only work if the TV and the fireplace are both Furrion brand. Here's what they replied:

Yes the Uniremote does work both the TV and Fireplace but the you have to be sure to press the TV button on top middle to engage the fireplace buttons. Once engaged, the only buttons that work the fireplace are the bottom 4 buttons so be sure to use the power button on the bottom for the fireplace which is "SEL" button and then the other functions are to the right of the power button. All fireplace button are in the orange square.

This all made me think of what is happening here at the house after I have installed some new Window Air Conditioner units that use a remote KEY FOB.

After I installed one in our bedroom I was clicking away on the bedroom HDTV set and was not working and the wife asked why are the lights on the new Air Conditoner flashing on and off hehe...

Sure enough the TV REMOTE was controlling the window air conditioner hehe... I was at a bad angle to make changes to the Bedroom HDTV set but was sure changing the blower speed on the window air conditioner hehe...

Now that makes one more thing to worry about when using the Window A/C remote control FOB hehe...

Go figure....
