Uni-Dock Utility Center water valves explained - NorthPoint (377rlbh) and others

Ever sense I have owned my unit I have always been curious exactly what all the colored valves in the uni-dock utility center controls. A better explanation than the user manual and pictures on the utility center itself....

I like to use water from time to time while the unit sits at my house but don't need hot water. I always drain the hot water tank when I get home from a trip. Without the hot water tank bypassed anytime I flip on the water pump or connect the water hose the first thing that happens is the hot water tank fills up. There is no explanation of how to just bypass the water heater other than process of elimination. It is in fact the Red Valve that bypasses the water heater by turning it sideways.

Well here a link to the installation guide of the panel itself. It tells you exactly what all the valves do if you care to know. I have also attached a picture of the page that explains them and attached the file.
