Rock... I’ve probably said this before...
My motors are 500:1 and my unit was one of the first ones built.

The factory told me mine were 300 to one. I ask why they did not use 500 to one and steel. He told me with the 300 if something is binding ur slide will stop. With 500 and steel it will tear up the track. That made sense the way he put it. When I ordered mine I called Jayco and talked with production about upgrade to that. I was flat told no and we have no slide problems because we use (forgot the term but something like square box) that makes everything aligned.
I wonder if after you they went to 300 or I was fed a dose of BS.

Make sure big kitchen slide is not leaning out an down to far. U can still use jacks Manuel to level to a point while hooked up.

As @Rock stated, try not to put out a larger (or any for me) slide when that side is canted down, puts a lot of additional stress and load retracting uphill. I for one always level, only takes a few seconds, and I don't unhook if we don't need the toad and there is room. My BO tow bar is a rough terrain model.
