Upgrade Axle option for 2020 Pinnacle M32 RLTS

Hi folks,
The back axle on my 2020 Pinnacle M32 RLTS is bent after taking it on a grueling cross country trip. All in all I think it did pretty good and I'm not sure where exactly it happened - perhaps it happened going over the large curb in front of my house - who knows. In any case I heard it might be possible to get the next size up axle - a more heavier duty one. I'm wondering if they use more robust axles on the 38FLWS model or...? Has anyone tried doing this - what were your results - and if I did replace the back axle with an upgraded one I'm thinking I may need to replace the front one with the same type as well. Any thoughts / suggestions would be appreciated thank you!

I see this is your first post, so welcome to Jayco Owner's Forum from New Hampshire. Your post speaks about the best upgrade anyone can do for their camper. Here is how we chose to upgrade our camper: Dexter: 7000 lb axles, upgraded leaf springs, Morryde Heavy-Duty Shackles with wet bolts. Our camper also has mounting spots for shocks, so we figured we might as well add these and got 4 Monroe Magnum RV 555025 Shocks. We also added the X-Factor Crossmembers so we would not have to worry as much about frame cracking.

Although you didn't mention brakes we upgraded to disc brakes too from Performance Trailer Braking. They came to the Florida campground we were at and did EVERYTHING listed here in one day!

Thanks! That's interesting as the existing axles on my coach are 7K Dexter's with Morryde suspension. I was thinking like 8K axles maybe not sure if they would fit though... I was hoping to do it myself and avoid any welding or major fitment issues.

The king of the hill for suspensions is the Morryde Independent suspension with disc brakes. Not cheap but once and done.

I have also used Performace trailer braking for my suspension upgrade on my Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS. I needed to upgrade to Dexter 5.2K axles to get disk brakes installed. (my unit came with 4.4k). I also purchased the Roadmaster slipper springs with shocks and the X-factor cross members. I got everything through Performace Trailer braking, and they installed everything in my driveway in one day. (I did have to wait until spring since I live in Iowa.) They ordered the axles and had then drop shipped to my house, so I would assume they could help you figure out what axles you need or want. I have not noticed any problem with having stronger axles. In fact, I found it now rides better, but that is most likely because of the shocks. Everything was a bolt-on without any welding. I hope this helps.
