Vent Covers

Any one ever use the Maxxair ll cover over a fantastic fan? I know they make a cover for these but twice the cost. The Maxx ll looks like it has more air relief vent wise than the one they suggest using over the fan. Just currious! Wanting to install on our 2011 31.5 RLDS.

They work nicely. I had them on 2 rigs with Fantastic Fans and Northern Breeze. They crank up top is restricted a little from opening fully but it does not affect the fan operation.

I have MaxxAir Fanmate covers on my trailer. They are looking great, even after 9 years in the Texas sun.

Worth the extra $ in my opinion.

I've have both, Maxxair II over the bathroom fan and FanMate over the bedroom fan. I can tell only a slight difference in air movement, probably not worth the extra $.

2 of my 3 vents are powered and I have all 3 with the regular vent cover... good air flow... I think some of those fancy ones are just designed to help you spend money..

After we get our new covers installed I think we'll have all of our modifications & extras added. I'm ready to go camping!!! PS I'm Amy and "Amy's Husband" is my husband. That's sounds weird!

You need to change your user name to "Amy's Husband's Wife"

I fell for it with the Northern breeze. I have the Maxx Air II's on the other vents including the upgraded bunkhouse fan. Probaly didn't need to do it but did spend the extra $45.00 on it. I actually purchased an open box unit from Amazon warehouse whch saved me $20.00 bucks which made the decision easier. Shop around on them as the prices vary considerably.

I would not own an RV without the covers. This is a must do MOD. I've come back to a wet bed once before the covers.
