Washer

Noticed that whether set on cold or warm wash, washer seems to be ONLY getting warm water when washing.............

Any ideas??

Do you get "cold" water from the sinks? Being in FL you're water hose as well as the lines in the floor are probably warm just from the ambient air temp.

Yes Grumpy all other faucets have cold water.
When using washer even on cold wash, when it ends you can tell it's warm water used. I also had my wife wash on warm thinking lines might be reversed, but both warm & cold are somehow warm.

Could the washer itself be making the water warm? Like a bad board that's opening both the hot and cold valves when cold is needed?

I'd run hoses to a bucket or sink and verify the cold is cold and hot is hot and that you are getting cold water on one and hot on another.

That's a good idea Earl. The problem is I cannot unhook washer hose with washer in place. And it's a PITA to remove closet doors etc. to get washer out.
Gonna try and see if I can slide it over against left wall, then may be able to get to hoses.

Earl I was able to disconnect both washer hoses and connect garden hose to supply lines.
The supply marked HOT appears to be COLD. COLD is HOT.
Reversed hoses and ran washer for COLD wash.
Seems to be good now!!
Thanks for the suggestion!!

Great! I heard others had their hot and cold backwards or neither supplies marked or colored.

I'm guessing mine are wrong as well. I am always ending up using HOT when it's set to cold. When I set it to hot it's still hot. HMmmm

EXACTLY what ours was doing.......reversed hook ups yesterday and ran a cold load and clothes were not hot like before.
( hose with black mark is "supposed" to be hot.
Mine is NOT
Easy way to find out is hook a garden hose up to each hose bib and run water.....

Don't forget to keep washer hoses separated or you'll have to pull washer out.

My 2017 Eagle 293RKDS has blue and red pex for the washer with blue and red handle valves. So clearly they are marked but that doesn't mean the cold will be cold. Lol

That would make it way too easy......it's better when they just take a marker and put a black mark on the hot.......LOL
