Washing the Roof

One of the first things I do after a trip is give the rv a bath before we put it in our garage. Our previous fifth wheel had a rubber EPDM roof and when I washed it it was not slick. The Pinnacle has a TPO roof, our first. Before I test it does it get slick when wet? I've survived way too many stupid moves in my life and have been trying to eliminate most of the activities than can kill me.

The roof on my Pinnacle is like coarse sand paper. In fact I slid my exposed knee across it the last time I was up there and it took a layer of skin off!! Don't think it gets slippery.

It is fairly safe but like anything when you are 10 or more feet above ground, tread lightly.

My Daughter has a good friend whose Father has been in a vegetative state for several years now after falling off his TT roof. Be very careful please.
When I picked up my 5er last year after having the RV Flex Armor roof installed the first thing they said was, " you dont ever need to get on this roof again " .
