Water Pressure Problem

Hello all, I’m trying to figure out why I have problems with my water pressure in my shower. It seems to be a little different than all the problems I see that other people have. When I turn on the shower I have very low water pressure. The water basically falls straight from the head to the floor. I can reach over with my foot and flush the toilet and then as soon as I let go of the foot flush, I get full pressure out of my shower head. I have to do this every time I shut off the shower head(when lathering up and such). The water in the bathroom sink seems to be fine as well as the kitchen sink. I am in an RV park. I have a Camco brass water regulator. I can always get good pressure as long as I flush the toilet any time of day. As far as I can tell I don’t have and leaks anywhere that would be siphoning off pressure. I am baffeld. I have a 2021 Eagle 30.5CKTS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look at your shower head closely, there may be a water restrictor valve on it that you twist. The OEM shower heads don't seem to work well to begin with. Add a regulator in because most RV's water systems can't take much over 45 PSI and you have poor spray action. One of the first things to get swapped out was our shower head, replaced with an oxygenetics.

Double check that your outdoor shower valves are closed. May be that if open, flushing the toilet re-prioritizes where the water is flowing too. Long shot I know, but have never heard of a problem like yours.

Take out the restrictor in the shower head. Unscrew the head from the hose. There's a small screened restrictor, usually color coded. Take it out because it's totally unnecessary.

The government requires them to be installed in all new faucet heads to restrict flow and use less water. If you desire, take them out of your home heads as well.

Sounds like the root issue is the shower head. That the hose off, and pull the internals apart. It sounds like the flow reducer. But you could have manufacturing debris in the unit or even a build up calcium.

I just got off work and checked the base of the shower head. I don’t seem to have any sort of screen in mine. I also checked at the base of the faucet. Don’t see anything there either. I think I may try to get a replacement shower head and see if that helps!

That's what I'd do too then. The new one will definitely have one, especially if you get one from the local store. Have you tried running the shower with the head off? If you don't have pressure then, something's wrong.
