If we are hooked into city water, do we still have to run the pump? We’re finding that without the pump on, there is no ( or very little) water pressure. Its my thinking that the pump should not have to be on when hooked into city water. Thoughts…any assistance welcomed. Take care.

No, city pressure should be sufficient. Probably something else causing it.
Insure your levers on the control panel are set to the correct positions for City Water. I discovered that when I fill the fresh water tank the water barely runs through the hose, but if I turn one of the levers slightly out of the proper position then the water will start moving through the hose (this has been confirmed with an inline water meter that fits on the hose) so play with the levers to find the sweet spot. If you have a filter or pressure regulator try removing it until you have ruled those out. With pressure regulator removed only turn the water on about half way at the source.

We fill our water tank and use the pump all the time. Then we dont have to worry about parks with low pressure or high pressure, a constant 50 psi
I have had a vacuum breaker ( used at some campgrounds faucets to stop water from flowing backwards during water outages ) restrict waterflow because a screen in my pressure regulator contacted it's valve pin when I threaded it on.
