Water Pump Continues to Run

Hello All,
i have a 2016 Jayco North Point. Which for the past couple of years we have had hooked up at a permanent site. We have since moved from the site, and have a need to winterize the unit for the first time

I have drained the onboard water and the water heater.
I have changed the control panel to winterize, hooked a hose to the city inlet, and other end of the hose in a gallon of antifreeze. The pump runs, but isnt drawing anything out of the jug? All faucets are turned off. Any Ideas? The temperature is going to drop below freezing tonight and i want to get some antifreeze in the unit.

Thanks in advance for your help.

First be sure to turn the screen on water inlet so the tip is pointed in, that will open the check valve which will help. Second confirm that all your low point drains are closed. Make the hose as short as possible but try to keep the jug over the inlet height, that can help with priming. Make sure that the hose fittings are tight and not sucking air. do you have a filter housing? if so make sure that the valves are not closed on that.

I had some troubles yesterday and was just getting foam, found that the barbed fitting on the hose was leaking and letting air in, put new hose clamp on and away it went.

good luck
