I use Wizards Shine Master. Safe for decals and works very well. When the front gets plastered with bug carcasses, I use some Maguair's car wash and a bug pad and they fall right off with little effort. Then I'll hit it with Wizards Mist and Shine.

I was going to start a thread on this after reading A LOT so I will see what people think.
My plan is for my new unit to wash with Meguiars cleaner. Spray decals with 303 to protect them. Then use Meguiars RV wax 50 (Clean & Wax) to wax. When I do the Rv wax should I do it over the decals or just let the 303 be the only thing? Also is there a good spray on polymer or coating to put over the wax?

O also planning to get a buffer to take the wax off. I will probably rub on by hand then buff off.

Before going through all that effort, look at my results. I use turtle wax car wash and Meguiars synthetic xpress wax. No need for buffer or multiple products. I spray on the wax when it’s still wet and then wipe dry. You can spray on decals, glass, rubber, etc. Nothing wrong with doing what you suggest but if your trailer is 40+ feet like mine, you look for the quickest most effective way to get the job done.

O the 325 is just few inches short of 40'. I was thinking about doing the front cap few times a year with a spray on type since it takes a beating. I am just wondering if the spray on types are that good for protection is my worry. I was thinking doing a heavy RV/Marine waxing once per year as my 5er sits outside

Mine sits outside too. Every time I wash it (once a month or so) I wax it. I do apply a traditional synthetic wax on the cap twice a year...not for any other reason than I like to keep my rig looking new.

After cleaning with a good wash product and Voom for streaks or spots, we use Meguire’s boat wax. Sounds excessive, but three to five coats on the front cap and rear surface lets bugs and splashed road dirt come off easily in the next washes. Luckily I have a brother-in-law who loves to wax! Using this method he had a 12 year old Sunnybrook TT that looked like new when sold last fall.

I use the same wax on my 5th wheel that I used on my previous TT. Works really good. I don't think the trailers know what on them.
