we do not wax, use mcquires ceramic spray, works great and so easy to apply after washing th coach. leaves a very slippery surface and seems to last for months. I do apply after every wash.

I've been using Turtle ICE "hybrid" on the truck and am working on the RV now, one slide or panel at a time. It wipes on clear with no buffing out and water beads up on it forever, it seems.

I use the Turtle bug and tar remover first (it's love-bug season here). That stuff works great and is the first to sell out in local stores in bug season.

Then I wash and towel dry, then wipe on the ICE with a microfiber towel.

In the spring we had a local guy wash the RV for $150. He spent 4 hours and brought his own water tank and pump. He did a good job but I don't mind doing it a bit at a time.

Been using this for a couple years and been very pleased with it. Not sure I’m ready to stop applying a coat of spray wax to the cap but won’t be worried about the rest of the trailer.

Here is the bug remover I use. You can see the bugs starting to dissolve within seconds.
