Last winter I used a 2kw genny to recharge the batteries when boondocking. The 2000w inverter won't run the AC or m/w. My refer is propane/elec. I ran the genny about an hr or so in the AM to cover the TV & lights (and furnace if req'd) the night before. This winter I'm hoping the panels will get the batteries back to 100% by end of day, if not enough sun then I'll use the genny to top them off.
