What holds the couch to the floor ?

When we bought our 331RETS, it came with a double recliner instead of the sofa sleeper that was standard when we ordered it. Thinking we needed the sofa sleeper for guests, we pushed Jayco and the dealer to provide the sofa and ottoman we expected. Fast forward a few years and that thing was worse to sit on than it was to sleep on. So, a recent road trip takes use near Bristol, IN which means we need to stop at Rec-Pro to buy a replacement. Finally, a question - what size screws are used to hold theater seating to the floor in the slide? I know it was attached to the floor but didn’t keep the brackets or screws.

Not real big. Probably #10 or #12 x 1" or 1 1/4. All they are needed for is to keep them from sliding. When I added elec recliners to our 38FLSA PINNACLE I only used two screws in each front cross bar. They never moved.

The hide a bed couch in my slide has no screws whatsoever. It stays in place with its own weight I suppose, it's never moved in transit, but I can pull it out if I wish. The stand alone table however is screwed to the floor.

Thanks Grumpy & Crabman. I remember the original theater seating had 4 brackets, 2 front and 2 rear to hold it in place. The we’re sort of like anti-tip brackets used on stoves. The new seating cantivelers a couple inches over the front edge of the slide so I’ve moved the front levelers on the frame back a bit to be on something solid. Still, In the reclined position, if you lean too far forward to reach something the rear lifts off the floor. Won’t take much to keep it grounded, just don’t want to see the screws from the outside

The floors are typically 5/8" plywood.. don't want to penetrate the plywood.
