What the what?

I feel like something is missing here? Anyone getting that feeling? That, what's supplying the power feeling?

Do you have power to your unit ( travel trailer, motor home, 5th wheel )? If so do the breakers in your picture work? It’s looks to be a very clean wiring job if it works. If it doesn’t work it still looks nice it just ain’t functional— lol !!!

My 12v system works, but it seems I have to do some digging to find my 30 amp shore power connection. I've looked everywhere except the walls and the undercarriage.

Main breaker (20 amp or 30 amp) is or should be on bottom right that feeds the buss on the right which is jumpered to feed buss on the left. That's my guess.

Just a thought. Do you have access to the back of the exterior power plug? If so you might be able to at least get an idea where the power wire is heading. You might be able move it some and listen for movement. Good luck!

I've taken a closer look. It seems the lower left breaker is dual 120v at 20 and 30 amps. There is a live going from the 20amp which I've traced to behind the shower. (Guess what's coming out next). I've already taken the liberty of removing the refrigerator, and forced air furnace.

Is that a hole in the bottom that goes through the floor? If so that is probably where the power cable should be coming into the panel since there is only one wire connected to the double breaker on the the left.

The reason I thought it would be reversed was due to the size of the breaker on the bottom right.

That hole actually goes nowhere It looks like. I thought the same. As far as I know , all lines go through the top of the box. I believe this is the work of the previous owners. Plenty of outlets yet they seem to all connect behind that shower.

Have you taken a meter to it? Does anything turn off when you flip the breaker?

That setup looks like it would be for 50 amp service. There would be no jumper between the two legs but rather one leg of the 50 amp feed going to each screw terminal at the top which would be the inputs.

Best guess is that someone put this together without much knowledge of electricity. Monkeying with 120 volts can become dangerous.

Turn off all breakers and check to see if there is voltage on any of the black screw connections. As Grumpy stated, one of those is probably the shore power input.

I just figured it out. That jumper across the two inputs at the top is actually the newest version of the flux capacitor, and it's pulling free energy from the ether... LOL

That was a joke, Fr33dom!ghter. It actually looks like something that should probably be checked out by an electrician before you hook it up to shore power.

Thanks , i found where the main 120v is going and it doesn't look good . Not to thrilled about messing with my roof. I included a few pictures of the situation.

Any how that looks like a residential breaker box. Not a power control center from a traditional rv.
Someone have done some amateur electrical work.
