Wheel bearing seals

I have a 2016 339FLQS with 16 inch wheels. Anybody know what the wheel bearing seals this would take?

An axle shop should have a match for one of the old seals.Pretty new camper to need axle seals?

Nope, any time the bearings are packed I always install new seals even if the bearings are good.

I haven't taken one apart yet...didnt know if someone had a reference number so I can pick up four before I start. Replace seals every time I repack bearings....have always done that on all trailers I've owned.

If it ain't broke, Then don't fix it. Did yours fail? I have seen failures due to over greasing. I pay close attention to my auto grease fittings on my 5er. and never add grease until half the travel of the spring and disc are noted. This is dependent on how many miles have I towed in a season etc.etc.

Nothing broken...just thinking like all my other campers I've owned...need to repack bearings at least every couple years. If for nothing else just peace of mind.

Periodic inspection of brake shoes, magnets and brake drum condition and bearings is wise & prudent. Failure of any of those things, at an unwanted time & place can ruin a trip or vacation in a hurry. Since inspection of those items requires removal of the brake drums, a new grease seal makes sense. In the past, I have seen roller bearings and races that are corroded as well as seals that are leaking getting grease on the inside of the drum and shoes. I'm leaning on new non-China bearings all around also.

The key idea is 'periodic' inspections. We are going into out fourth season with out 2016 HT 29.5 FBDS, so IMO, it's due. Doing a total inspection of the brakes, bearings with new double lip seals. Also plan on doing a wet bolt kit.

I repack my bearings before they break.

Look on one of the axles for the tag that will tell you the make/model of your axles. Then look in the manual and there should be a table with part numbers for all the bearings/seals. If you don't have a printed copy of the manual it should be readily available on the vendors web site. Once you've identified the part numbers pick up a spare set so you always have them on-hand when needed.
