Wheel Chock Info Needed

Our Eagle 341RLQS has 33" axle spacing as opposed to 35" spacing- The chocks we used on our Montana will not compress enuf to place between the tandem tires- Has anyone made their own? Can you share specs? Any info is appreciated- THANX in advance for all replies- Don

What kind are they? I believe Roto Chok will retro fit your existing choks to fit.

Here's some links:

http://home.roadrunner.com/~duncansh...eel_chocks.htm

http://www.rverscorner.com/chocks.html

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...cks-12420.html

I did the pressure treated ones and they work fine. Nice thing is that when we changed campers I just took them apart and cut the blocks to an angle that would fit.
If I had the skills and tools I'd go with the ones on the forest river link.

With the SteadyFast stabilizers and a pair of jack stands under the frame just in front of the front axle we no longer use the between the wheel chocks, I do use the plastic yellow wheel chocks to keep the trailer from rolling away when on sloped surfaces and for hooking and unhooking.

Trailer is solid as a rock.

I am looking into buying a set of (2) of the X-Chocks through camping world. My question and open to recommendations is: If I install (2) of the X-Chocks on my 35' fifth wheel, should I also purchase a king pin stabilizer? My camper is on a fairly level lot?

Once our new 5th wheel rolls off the assembly line I'm going to skip the king pin stabilizer and equip it with one of these:

or one of these:

We have been camping in fifth wheels for over 12 years and have never felt the need for king pin or any other type of stabilizers. IMO, unless you have heavy adults or lots of children running around they are a extra expense. I would try it without them and see if you agree.

I'll pass, I know the results already and it would be unanimous.

I've used these for over 15 years and they work great. Built a little different now.

These work for me, no complaints. The tripod DOES work well when properly installed.
Raise trailer an inch or so, snug the tripod in place, lower trailer so significant weight rests on the tripod.
