Where is the switch

I just purchased a 2004 Jayco M 3110 RLTS, donít have hot water. The only switch I see with an indicator light is over the bathroom sink, but seems like a strange place since the water heater is in kitchen slide. Asked the (non Jayco) dealer, he thinks that switch is for water pump (indicator goes on, nothing else happens), but if thatís true, where is switch(s) for water heater. He suggested that maybe just controlled by circuit breaker, and defective.

Some of the older rigs had a switch on the back of the water heater right by the electrical connection.

some heaters have only the GAS on/of switch and a circuit breaker. Suburban WH will have a switch outside the bottom lower-left corner behind the gril.

All of the older trailers that I have owned had a switch located at the lower left hand corner of the water heater face, behind the vent/grill on the outside of the trailer. What I have always thought peculiar is that the switches have all operated the opposite of standard switches. If the bottom of the switch was pushed in, the water heater would be on. If the top was pushed in, the water heater would be off. Hope this helps you.
